This course is designed to
help students with writing
and the creation of literary
themes. There is emphasis on
writing Poetry, Fiction,
Non-Fiction, Playwriting,
and Screenwriting. There are
writing exercises,
discussions on literary
themes, exercises on use of
language, and suggested
reading. The Key elements of
study are discussion and
writing exercises as well as
lessons on the Art of
Storytelling The
course is designed to help
students improve their
creative efforts when it
comes to writing. Writers
will also learn a little bit
about the Publishing
industry and what it takes
to get your book published.
This course is taught by
professional writers.
Creative Writing will be a 5
week course because the last
day of the class is
dedicated to questions about
the publishing industry and
how to prepare a book for
submission. In addition each
student will get a chance to
have one of their
assignments published in on
of Truesource Publishing's
publication of book
collection of short stories.
